How do I properly pour or dispense bitters from a bitters bottle?

To create the perfect dash, turn your bitters bottle upside down (not to the side), and give it one firm "shake" up and down. That is one dash.

Are there any tips or tricks for storing and preserving bitters in bitters bottles?

Make sure to store them in a cool place away from direct sunlight in order to avoid too much evaporation.

Can bitters bottles be used for other types of flavorings or extracts?

Absolutely! Anything that is not too heavy in viscosity or doesn't contain a lot of sugar (like a syrup) can be used-- sugary & thick liquids can clog up the hole when dried, so avoid those.

Are bitters bottles leak-proof or spill-proof?

For the most part, yes. The silicone cork should stop any leaks coming from the edges. Also, because there is only one hole for air and liquid to come out of, liquid can only come out in dashes-- meaning even if you hang it upside-down, it will not flow continously.

BEST CITRUS JUICER EVER !

Just received my A Bar Above Stainless Steel Juicer and let me tell you I am over the moon with it. Very sturdy, great leverage as well.
I was using a table top juicer , when I go to a party I usually take some batches of fun party cocktails, and was given a fathers day gift of a manual commercial juicer, works great but a bit much for a before dinner cocktail for myself or a couple of guests. We had one of the small juicers but geez had to have gorilla strength and smaller lemons & limes. So I decided to try these from A Bar Above and am so happy I did, as advertised it's large so fits lemons and limes perfect and was so impressed with the leverage, very easy to use. Top quality construction and the grips on the handles are just so, well, grippie !

Bar mat review

Awesome mat. Very nice design. Offset pattern is a plus. Deep grooves, holds plenty of liquid and spills. Good size and protects my bar top. Very pleased. Would recommend and purchase another.

Very Good Home Tool

This muddler has a lot to recommend it. First off, the muddling head is pretty wide which allows you to muddle a lot of items (or large items) efficiently and quickly.

Secondly, the overall size is great. It's plenty long enough to use in any mixing glass I've ever seen while also being long enough to keep your hand well away from a pint glass that many home bartenders use. The grip is also great for either full-finger or finger tip grips.

And finally, it is super easy to wash. I handwash mine but they say it's good in the dishwasher top rack.

The only thing I don't love about this muddler is that it is not wooden. I just like the look and feel of wood tools but it doesn't affect the performance at all. Also, maybe the plastic could deteriorate more quickly than you would like it to but this shouldn't be an actual worry--everything else I've gotten from A Bar Above has been high quality and durable.
